The original Space Invaders was one of my favorites growing up and now, the thrill is back!

Yes! I love SI and I love that is icade compatible! You need to try the sequel. It is even better!

A great take on Space Invaders! Awesome art, simple design, tons of fun. Plays great on the iPad Mini! You couldnt find a better SI game at this price.

This one of the best. It doesnt make you buy apps just get through a level. And man, it takes me back to my high school days.

Graphics, sounds, operations-all are fantastic and I really love this game. Just a small suggestion-if the game could turn landscape it Seems like it would not make the player have to bend his/her wrists as much with the traditional button controls. I would play a LOT longer if i could alleviate that issue. But the game itself is absolutely the BEST!

I really like this game but I wish the right and left control was different.

The game is great. But why no landscape on ipad? Or this people jus want us to buy the hd version for that? Also, there is no way to keep high scores in this version! What up with that?If they make it landscape and portrait for ipad and let u keep scores i will give 5 star

Great game, but how many times am I going to be at 170,000 with 9 ships left when the game freezes up and shuts itself off - well lets count - that was just the 8th time

I have the iPhone version and really like it, so I downloaded the iPad version. What a disappointment! Shoots way too slow to be effective and definitely not as sensitive as the iPhone version. I played one game, am writing this review, and deleting the app from my iPad. Waste of money.

Thanks for fixing the iPod 5G formatting bug, guys! Its working again, so Im updating to 5 stars. This game is great, classic Space Invaders gameplay through and through.

Reminds me of playing this game in the Atari when I was younger but the ads in between every level distract and eventually get too cumbersome to continue playing. Downloaded and played the game for 30 minutes then deleted. Glad I got the game when they were offering it for free.
